Nicole Schofield has been a full time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Northeast Rehab Physical Therapy since 2010. She has always been very active and eager to learn, first by becoming a Massage Therapist, and then by continuing her secondary education by completing her degree to become a PTA at Penn State Hazleton’s Campus. Since becoming a part of our Physical Therapy team, she has obtained her indirect Supervision License, completed parts A,B,C, and D of the McKenzie Method and most recently completed her Chronic Pain and Nutrition Practitioner program with the Integrative Pain Science Institute in May of 2022. In addition, Nicole has also completed continuing education programs in concussion management, pain neuroscience, and functional pattern movements.
Nicole’s continued drive to learn and passion for movement of the body lead her to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with the Always-at-Aum yoga school. She currently teaches multiple class outside of our facility and specializes in programs within the clinic to include pain neuroscience, yoga, nutrition, and movement. When Nicole is not working you can find her exploring new trails in the area as well as paddleboarding, or simply spending time with her dog Toffee!
