Northeast Rehab, a physician-led independent medical group in Scranton, PA, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Physician or General Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our growing team.
We are one of the largest independent multispecialty practices in Northeastern Pennsylvania, offering integrated outpatient care in physiatry, neurology, rheumatology, and musculoskeletal medicine. Our practice owns and operates a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center along with a broad range of in-house ancillary services, including physical therapy, chiropractic care, psychology and behavioral health, acupuncture, and massage therapy.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient-focused position with no hospital call
- Perform interventional procedures, such as epidural injections, facet blocks, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections, and spinal cord stimulator trials
- For general PM&R physicians: opportunity to develop or expand an interventional pain management program
- Collaborate with a seasoned team of physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple specialties

Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- For Interventional Pain Physicians: Fellowship training or extensive experience in interventional pain procedures is preferred
- For General PM&R Physicians: A strong interest in developing interventional pain management skills/programs is a plus
- Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

Northeast Rehab is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator to lead the daily operations of our newly established ASC for pain management procedures. This individual will be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of ASC operations, including clinical, administrative, and financial functions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team
- Manage budgets, revenue cycle, and cost containment strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and governing board to drive strategic initiatives
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement programs
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
- Proven financial management and operational leadership skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
