Taryn Mellody-Liuzzo, PT

Taryn Mellody-Liuzzo is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Scranton where she earned her bachelor of science, master of physical therapy and doctor of physical therapy degrees. She is a physical therapist with over fourteen years of experience treating patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses including Multiple Sclerosis, cerebrovascular accidents (stroke), Bell’s Palsy, balance impairments, arthritis, ACL reconstruction and sports injuries.

Taryn is a Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) Big certified clinician for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and guest lecturer for the University of Scranton’s Doctor of PT department on the topic of Parkinson’s Disease. As an All-American basketball player at the collegiate level, Taryn understands the impact of injuries on student athletes and is passionate about helping them safely return to their sport
